Summer In Washington State

Summer here in Washington state is in full swing! BBQ’s and pool parties are happening all over the neighborhood, are you ready?

Are you sure you have done your spring cleaning? Done taking bags of clothes to the nearest second-hand store or making sure you dusted your china cabinet?  However, what about all that patio furniture, or your wet bar in the basement you just had finished in December? Well, now is best the time to start planning how to get all your summer gear looking great!

Most patio furniture is heavy-duty. Meaning, you have it out in the rain/snow/sun, and it is still holding up. If it is the case, then you have it easy. Take some towels and wipe everything down, glass, chairs/tables themselves. Is there is a buildup of grime, mold, or residue, get some soap on your towel and with some

Lastly, if your summer seats was just inside your house all year, they just need some cushions and an iced tea tray on top! If you are getting ready for family and friends to enjoy your newly paved backyard and you have forgotten about your chores indoors, just give us a call, and we will help you out.

We’re at the Mill Creek Festival

July 14th and 15th we spent our weekend at the Mill Creek Festival!

Saturday we worked from 10 to 7, getting people to sign up for our newsletter, enter into our raffle to win some cleaning supplies and the grand prizes were house cleanings! We adorned our booth with a pink tablecloth, pink, blue & white balloons, as well as a brand new banner! I think the bright pink color attracted a lot of people to our booth and once they heard “win a free house cleaning” their ears perked up.

By the end of the day on Saturday, we had run out of candy and entry forms! Sunday the weather was not as warm. Moreover, something in the air was taking a toll with allergies. However, that did not stop people from having fun and enjoying the rest of the festivities.

We would say Sunday, even though it was 2 hours less than Saturday was our busiest day. The festival goers really seemed to love our booth! With candy for the kids, a free cloth for signing up for our newsletter and entering our raffle I think it was a hit. It was incredible to reach so many, hand out our brochures and answer any questions they had about our services. We hope everyone else who attended Mill Creek Festival had a good time too!

House Cleaning Tip: Lemon Oil Duster

House Cleaning Tip: Lemon Oil Duster

Lemon Oil Duster is an awesome cleaning material to have especially if you have a lot of wooden furniture to clean. Most of the today’s commercially available lemon oil is not all natural but may also include petroleum distillates. Contact and connect with herbalists to acquire pure sources of lemon oil. Traditionally, the usage of lemon oil for furniture maintenance is highly recommended, because of its lubricating and antiseptic properties.

How to create Lemon Oil Duster

Ingredients:

  • Ten (10) drops lemon oil
  • Two (2) tablespoons lemon juice
  • A few drops olive oil or jojoba

Preparations:

  • In a container, combine all the ingredients, and mix until the mixture is ready.
  • Soak a soft recycled cloth, such as one of flannel, in the lemon oil mixture, and wipe furniture. Repeat as necessary.
